Hello remaining members on this community :) I'm looking for some housing in the fall, I'm currently at Peninsular Place, nice place, high rent. I'm looking to either pay for a room in a house or a roommate for an apt. I've been looking on rent.com, wondering if anyone knew anyone or anyone themselves are looking for a roommate starting mid-August.

Manicures [13 May 2008|03:13pm]

Is there anywhere people prefer for manicures?

Preferably somewhere that can see me after work hours and will be able to get me in by Thursday evening.

(I have a job interview Friday morning and am effectively unable to do my own nails due to a lovely cast on my right wrist.)

If there are places to stay away from, let me know.

Discussion! [13 May 2008|05:23pm]

[eviltweeter]
Heya everybody,

Since there's been a craving for discussion material lately, I thought, why not try and start a discussion on something I've been thinking about lately and see if there're more people out there interested in this.

What I always find interesting is how, in relationship astrology, there's an emphasis on sign compatibility, aspects, house overlays, composite charts, etc. (Of course we always also have to look at the natal chart for relationship potential.)

But shouldn't NATAL house positions be more important than they usually are in synastry analysis? For example, what if person A has a huge 10th house emphasis, in the sign of Aries, when another person has a huge 4th house emphasis, in Leo. Most of their planets should still be trine but these people live with a totally different perspective on life; one being career-focused while the other feels there's more worth in a stable family life. Shouldn't this give enough friction, leaving trines and house overlays aside, for the two to have occasional struggles?

How do you feel about the little importance being (please don't get me wrong, I mean this IN COMPARISON to other aspects, like, house overlays or planetary aspects) given to natal house positioning in relationship analysis?

EDIT: Rephrasing question: do you feel (out of personal experience) natal house positioning is more important than the attention it's getting regarding the evolution of the relationship and where its headed and don't you think there should be more emphasis on that when people write synastry books?

My sun sign is a couple of degrees into pisces.. less than 10 minutes..
Alot of my forecasts seem to be very accurate in aquarius..
Is this quite normal when your on the cusp..even when you definately another sign?
I find daily forecasts in aquarius mirror what's going on, but I definately have more piscean traits..

Hi there

I’m from Belgium and new in this community but im also a member of Aquarians.
Soo I met this Australian guy on LJ, we’ve been chatting for a while and we seem to have common interests and characteristics :) We share the same birthdays, only he’s 3 years younger. I dunno why, but I have this strange feeling we might be soulmates. There are a lot of similarities between our signs and planets and the compatibility report says we do match very well :D If we only didn’t have to live miles away from each other *sighs*

Here are our charts from www.astro.comI also did get a chart from café astrology, but I guess this one is more accurate. At café they didn’t give u the opportunity to type your birth city, only the country.Soo tell me what you think ;)

I hate banks [12 May 2008|04:49pm]

That said, does anyone have a bank that they like? I'd like to be able to get money out, without paying fees, be it at their ATM or, if it's an online bank, get my fees refunded. Ideally, I'd be able to use a debit card at a grocery store, select the ATM option, and get cash, without paying a fee. I work at UM, so I spend more time in Ann Arbor than other places, if it's going to be a brick & mortar bank you recommend.

Thanks!

So, I don't know if anyone cares, but here is another rambling concert review of the MSG show, filled with incoherence and glee. Eventually I'll do another post with pictures and maybe video, but for now it's just me spazzing.

A fan-hero 'relationship'...with some interesting observations [11 May 2008|07:38pm]

[ mood | curious ]

After [info]corinthians1313's post about the fan-hero relationship, I got very curious to explore mine! This person not only has influenced me very much artistically (it was under his 'influence' that I started getting preoccupied with music, writing lyrics etc) but also he was my very first "male model"! (Since I was 10, in fact.) As I've never met him in person, (but would really love to very soon) I decided to do a comparison of my natal chart and his, along with my one-sided synastry chart, just to play around a bit!!! The results were more than interesting!!
